Our story

It began with a gift

I had been experimenting with acrylics for almost a decade but for my 25th birthday, I was given a set of watercolours with a couple of small postcard-sized papers.

It was a new medium and I was naturally excited to work with it, and I wanted to make my first painting something that was dedicated to us. A memory we held close and a memory where we were all present. Eagle's Nest was one such moment in Hunza during our grad trip where we all sat in awe of the view in front of us, in the freezing April cold.

That was where my watercolour journey began and after much appreciation from friends and family, I decided to make it a series. The idea for postcards from my art came from my sister.

There's nothing I want more than people to be able to gift their loved ones moments in time, from our beautiful Pakistan.

Fables of the Land is also going to be available in the USA, with efforts from my sister.

This wouldn't have been possible without a set of watercolours as a gift and the support from my friends and family.

Abbottabad, Pakistan

Born and raised in the small town of Abbottabad, Pakistan, my interest in art began as a young child who loved watching the Indian art programme by Rob called M.A.D, which aired on Pogo TV, and wreaked havoc with chart paper shavings on carpeted floors.

The passion was always there, sometimes showing up in the form of acrylics, other times in the form of DIY projects.

With a degree in finance, this venture isn't stemming from a quarter-life crisis but from a want of returning back to where it started.
